I don’t see things the way you do. My day-to-day life is a lot different. I’m Timothy Cuneio and I’m legally blind. I met my friend Leslie when I came to Leader Dogs for the Blind for my white cane training. She was my instructor 4 years ago who taught me how to travel independently using the long white cane. A lot has changed in those 4 years, I returned to Leader Dog to get my guide dog Glacier and together we tackle the world.

I’m Leslie Hoskins the Outreach Services and Community Engagement Manager and a certified Orientation and Mobility specialist at Leader Dogs for the Blind. I’m fortunate that both of these roles allow me to teach and work with clients one on one to travel safely using the long white cane, but I also get to spread the mission of Leader Dog and help others benefit from our free services.

And unlike Timothy and Leslie, this world is new to me. I’m Christina Hepner the Digital Marketing Manager with Leader Dogs for the Blind and I’m learning right along with you.
